Kevy Kane-Known to his family as Kevin and his friends as Kevy or Kev, he was a happy-go-lucky young man. The forever smiling Kevy was a joker. Words cant really describe the chrisma and charm that flowed from him. He was a typical lad who enjoyed a bit of craic and banter with his mates.
His mother descirbed him as a wonderful, caring son and his brother and sister said "He was just our wee brother". His friends loved to see him coming because they knew there were good times to be had while Kevy was about.
Unfortunatly the following story occured on 8th July 2004 and we lost our good friend forever:
On the 2nd day of his holiday Kevin phoned home to tell his mother he was having a great time while holidaying in Kusadasi, Turkey with 7 of his close friends and some of their parents. Him and his two male friends had hired mopeds for the week they were there. Unfortunately the young man wasnt to see the week through as he crashed his bike that night.
Kevin was killed instantly and his friend Ciara, who was on the back of the bike, was seriously injured. It was devestating for us all, especially, the 17 year old, Ciara who could not make it home in time for Kevins funeral due to her injuries. He was just 20 years old.
We dont get to see his cheeky grin or hear his infectious laugh anymore. We've lost those things forever. But the memories of that cheeky cheeser and the good times we shared with him are locked in our hearts always.

Still think about you every day Kevy. Almost 8 years since u left us. U wud have been celebrating ur 28th bday very soon! Its crazy to think its been so long...if u cud see half of ur crazy friends settled down with kids ud be very surprised lol.
